PP
Payment Processor. This may or may not include a merchant account. Examples are Stripe, Giving Fuel, PayPal, etc. We depend on the Payment Module for payment plugins.
Donation
A contribution that may be standalone or part of a campaign.
Subscription
A recurring donation often with no set end date.
Standalone Campaign
A standalone campaign has a unique Campaign ID and no children. Donations and subscriptions are assigned directly to this campaign.
Peer-to-peer Campaign
These are multi-level campaigns with a parent and children. Registered site users can create their own child campaigns that inherit the end date from the parent.
Parent Campaign
Parent campaigns are made by the site owner and manage their child campaigns. The total donation amount in a Parent Campaign is the sum of all the child campaign donation amounts plus any money donated directly to the parent campaign.
Child Campaign
Child campaigns have a parent campaign and are made by registered site users other than the site owner. Child campaigns can be part of teams and typically have significantly smaller goals than the parent campaign they belong to.
Badge
A badge is a widget to promote donations to campaigns.
Campaign Update
Campaign Updates are information for each campaign. Campaigns will show updates on their pages.
Team
A team is for competition. Campaigns can have unlimited teams, and each team will be available in the Campaign Kit donation page.
